Shari Pedowitz’s Showstopper is a bold, intimate color photograph savoring the drama of pink lady slipper orchids. The fuchsia blooms take the spotlight against luxuriant green leaves, revealing ruffled petals and rich, velvety textures.
Light sweeps across the flowers, highlighting intricate veins and delicate curves, while the dark, blurred background drops like a theatrical curtain.
They command the stage and demand an encore.
