My Song by Shari Pedowitz is the music she hears in the sea.
 
Vivid YInMn blue and turquoise flow in rolling currents of color, while real sand gathered from Point Pleasant, New Jersey, brings the shoreline directly into her mixed media artwork. Iridescent details shimmer through the layers, adding the sparkle and texture of the ocean.
 
Her fluid abstract expressionist brushstrokes rise and fall like waves, carrying deep ocean blues, unexpected flashes of color, and tactile details throughout her piece.
 
The ocean has its own rhythm. Shari just painted it.
