These are not your bubbe’s Golems. Shari Pedowitz has conjured avatars of Jewish resilience, myth, and mischievous camp. She has rewritten the script, dusted it with glitter, and delivered a neon-fabulous, gender-neutral retelling where survival arrives dressed to dazzle. Resilience is loud, styled, and impossible to ignore.

Gadol the Golem struts in soft pinkish purple, butterflies fluttering across their chest like statement jewelry. They make protection look couture, transforming the gentle giant into a glam guardian with an opulent presence and a little extra sparkle.

Gadya the Golem flows like parted waters, Seder plate symbols glimmering across their body like sacred treasures. Freedom moves through them in full color, placing ancient ritual center stage where it belongs. Liberation has never looked so luminous.

Gedolah the Golem radiates fuchsia and turquoise brilliance. With rainbow eyes sparkling and a shofar lifted high, they arrive sweet, glittering, and entirely confident, like the new year showing up fully dressed and ready for the celebration.

Gelt the Golem shines in electric sky blue with a dreidel over their heart, a hanukkiah steady in hand, and gelt scattered across them like it has better things to do than behave. Tradition, but with better lighting.

Glick the Golem is the disco-ball defender. Iridescent, effervescent, and wrapped in bubbles of light, Glick has never met a room they couldn't improve. Light moves through them and returns with even more sparkle.

Grogger the Golem is the loudest of them all. Psychedelic, rainbow-striped, and fringed with carnival texture, they arrive with color, chaos, and joy turned all the way up. Subtlety was never invited.

Grogger the Golem Esther arrives in magenta, black, and white. Holding a rainbow grogger, they own the room with perfect timing. The plot reports to her.

Grogger the Golem Vashti glows in fuchsia, gold, black, and rainbow restraint. She stands perfectly still, making everything else feel slightly underdressed. Her refusal lands complete and final.

Together, Shari’s Golems sparkle across generations, carrying Jewish joy, flamboyance, and survival into a world that could always use more color.
